Latitude 19 Tax was founded on a shared journey that began long before the firm itself. Jill Zadny and Julia Wilson first met in 2008 while living and working in the Cayman Islands, where a professional connection quickly grew into a lifelong friendship. The name Latitude 19 is a nod to those early years abroad and reflects the firm’s global perspective—one shaped by firsthand experience living, working, and navigating tax systems across borders.
The firm is led by two partners whose expertise naturally complement one another.
Julia Wilson, MSA
Julia leads the firm’s business taxation and corporate advisory practice. With over 20 years of experience in corporate and business accounting, Julia specializes in entity structuring, multi-state taxation, and cross-border business operations. Originally from Freiburg, Germany, and having lived in multiple countries before immigrating to the United States, Julia understands the complexities foreign founders and international investors face when setting up and operating businesses in the U.S. Her personal experience navigating the U.S. tax and regulatory landscape as an immigrant adds a practical, empathetic dimension to her advisory work.
Jill Zadny, CPA
Jill focuses on personal income tax, tax planning, and complex individual returns. A native of Carson City, Nevada, she has spent over 20 years living and traveling internationally and brings deep, practical insight into the unique challenges faced by U.S. expats and globally mobile individuals. Her work is grounded in both technical precision and lived experience, allowing her to anticipate issues before they become problems
Together, Julia and Jill at Latitude 19 Tax serve clients with multi-state operations, international holdings, and expat tax obligations, offering thoughtful, tailored solutions backed by technical expertise and real-world global experience.
